GUYS. 7 months later and I FINALLY finished editing our Iceland trip.

Heres the thing. I take THOUSANDS of pictures a year, not including pictures I take for my bride + grooms and other clients.  Just personal pictures. So why don’t I share these??  Was a recent question that I asked myself.  I’m TERRIBLE at journaling, I’ve always wished I was better, but it just hasn’t worked out.  So, why not just blog my own personal life through images as well.  I love sharing my adventures with everyone, and theres no better way to do it.  So that’s what this little tab is dedicated to.  Life.  Our adventures, our stories, and our life together and I am so excited to hopefully be a little bit better about keeping track of all my thoughts and memories.

So here’s my first post.  About 7 months too late, but that’s okay. Better late than never right?

This was our second time out of the country, and the first time as a married couple. (shoot, I should blog our wedding, that’ll be up here soon!)

We had seen tons of amazing pictures and stunning reviews on what Iceland had to offer, and it didn’t disappoint (maybe the food did, but, I’d trade food for views any day— crazy, I know)
We spent a week running from waterfall to waterfall, finding hidden gems, running through fields of purple flowers, playing with wild horses, hanging out with the guy in the gas station— the only place we could find food, and watching the most amazing sunsets on cliffs overlooking black sand beaches— all on little sleep in the middle of the night watching the sun set on the horizon and come right back up.  Could not have asked for a better week with my new husband 🙂 Not to mention, India Earl + Jay came over to take bridals of us (LIKE WHAT), and they’re so incredible.  I’ve posted some of them below and then you can check more of them out @

ALSO. If you want to hear a crazy story of so many unfortunate events (hilarious too) + more about the few days we spent with these two creative souls, check out my post on India + Jay in my galleries

We made a deal to each other when we made our first trip out of the country to Thailand, that we would go out of the country for a personal trip at least once a year.  This year we are exploring Europe for two weeks with some good friends and we couldn’t be more excited. Cannot wait to share those gems with you all next.
So take a look!  And if you’re feeling super into it, go ahead and watch the super super simple, thrown together video.  Guys…it’s not good. hahah. I’m no videographer by any means. I don’t even know how to upload them to put them on a website? (is using Vimeo normal?)… I just took a ton of video clips and thought that maybe it could be fun to throw it together in a simple video— and it was, but not worthy of much. hahah. Yay!

Seriously you should check out her blog post.  I would upload all 100+ images but. I’m already having a heck of a time with this many. haha.

And as for the rest of the trip…

You can’t see holes in these moss fields. So yup. Ate it.

Ugh. You make me want to go to Iceland even more now. Amazing images. I love the way you edit!!! I wish I could edit photos that well haha. Anyways, my only questions are: 1) where did you stay? And 2) what presets or editing things do you do to make your photos work so well!
